New level of enlightenment

Over the last three years, I have made changes and growth in various parts of my life to empower myself with inner peace and create a wonderful positive life for my family.
There have been moments during these three years where I have stumbled, I have forgotten my progress and I have let negative moments in and after a lot of reflection on this, I have decided to leave that in the past and count today as my first day for moving forward into my next level of enlightenment, so I start a clean slate of blogging today. I have reached a level where negative situations or events are not dragging me down. I am able to let them flow through me and remain ahold of positive mindfulness. I am able to take the negative thoughts I've had and dissect why I was thinking them and what it was saying about myself.
The negative will always produce itself along the way in life but I have learnt that it doesn't need to consume you, simply because it consumes others. If anything perhaps we can lead by example, take someone else's negative struggles and help shape them into positive ways to move forward and release themselves from the attachment to suffering. It can be a struggle but it is important to remember we have the mental power to block out chaos.

I'm a big believer in having a space where you can go to in your living area, to meditate, reflect and continue to embrace your mindfulness.

Place of Positivity.
In these years I've kept my own little place of positivity. It has been a part on my kitchen bench, with a mini zen garden, post it notes with inspiration quotes, green tea oil, gemstones, a harmony ball and beautiful Japanese ornaments from markets.

Preparing to move houses soon, I hope to create my own outdoor place of positivity as well, in the form of a garden.

A place of Positivity for kids.
Depending on age, how you make it, a garden can be a wonderful place for kids as well as adults to find calm mindfulness. I created a fairy garden with my daughters full of flowers, ornaments and positive messages. It's a relaxing place for children to learn to care for their plants, watch them grow and have a quiet moment watering or digging in their space.

You could also create a little spot of positivity in their bedroom, even if it's a small shelf with things that make them happy, beautiful pictures, messages, lights and gemstones.

Now I'm off to start my first day in a new light. I wish everyone else well wishes on their personal journeys. If you want a life that sparkles, you have to create it.
